Kazuki Nakajima has TOYOTA and motorsport in his blood, as the son of ex-Formula 1 driver Satoru Nakajima, the man who drove in TOYOTA’s very first Le Mans back in 1985. Kazuki’s single-seater career began, fittingly, at the wheel of a TOYOTA and took him all the way to Formula 1, where he became the first Japanese driver to score points in the Monte Carlo Grand Prix. He has proved his speed and consistency in a range of series and is one of the stars of domestic racing in Japan, as a multiple champion in Super Formula. Kazuki enjoys writing new pages in Japanese motorsport history and set a new milestone in 2014 when he became the first Japanese driver to set the pole position lap at Le Mans. It took him another four year – including some drama – to finally fulfil his biggest dream and take home the overall victory at the Circuit de la Sarthe.
