Scrutineering for TOYOTA Racing

Le Mans 24 Hours RaceTOYOTA Racing got its Le Mans 24 Hours race week officially underway today with the scrutineering in front of thousands of fans in Le Mans city centre.

The two TS030 HYBRIDs left the Circuit de la Sarthe at 15.00 and made the short journey through the city to the Place de la Republique where ACO officials checked they meet the technical regulations.

The driver too were there, so sign on and have their safety equipment checked. All bar Kazuki Nakajima though, as he was busy racing in Super GT at Sepang in Malaysia. He will arrive in France in the morning and complete the formalities then.

With bright sunshine on a Sunday afternoon, thousands of fans greeted the cars and drivers, generating a fantastic atmosphere to lift the spirits as the first practice sessions creep closer.
