17 January 2013

TOYOTA Motorsport GmbH (TMG) is pleased to confirm the schedule for the very first TMG GT86 Cup, which will run as part of the Nürburgring-based VLN championship this year.

As preparations continue at full throttle, the final schedule has been revealed for the Cup, which is based on the TMG GT86 CS-V3 race car.

The first-ever TMG GT86 Cup – the only official race competition in the world dedicated to TOYOTA’s incredible GT86 car – will begin on 23 March and end on 26 October.

The full calendar is as follows:

23 Mar        ADAC Westfalenfahrt
13 Apr        DMV 4-Stunden-Rennen
27 Apr        ADAC ACAS H&R Cup
22 Jun        Adenauer ADAC Simfy Trophy
20 Jul         ADAC Reinoldus-Langstreckrennen
24 Aug       ADAC Ruhr-Pokal-Rennen
14 Sep       RCM DMV Grenlandrennen
28 Sep       ADAC Barbarossapreis
12 Oct        ROWE 250-Meilen-Rennen
26 Oct        DMV Münsterlandpokal

Attractive prizes for race and season results totaling around €50,000 combine with the GT86 CS-V3 car, which is available for €45,815 (including German VAT), for a cost-effective way to participate in one of Europe’s leading motorsport series.

The annual entry fee of €2,500 also includes additional benefits such as a TMG GT86 Cup-branded race suit, VIP hospitality packages and exclusive reductions on tyres and spare parts at the race track.

So far TMG is pleased to report strong interest in the concept, with cars already being delivered to customers.

Although not part of the TMG GT86 Cup calendar, the car is eligible to compete in the Nürburgring 24 Hours in the V3 class, which was won by the prototype GT86 CS-V3 in 2012.
