- BRM as series partners in TOYOTA’s one-make cup
- Handmade trophies for every podium finisher
- Unique champion watch from BRM for overall Cup winner
The enthusiasm for motorsport is no coincidence: Bernard Richards, who founded the BRM company 18 years ago and still manages it, was once an ambitious amateur racing driver on kart tracks and circuits. Sporty design, first-class material and precise manufacturing are not only synonymous with motorsport; they are characteristics of the BRM chronoghraphs.
The German representative of BRM is located in Nürburg, within sight of the Nordschleife on which the TMG GT86 Cup runs. “That is why, in addition to our presence in other racing series, we also wanted to be involved in the VLN championship. The cooperation with TMG within the framework of the GT86 Cup is the perfect complement to our existing sponsorship activities,” explains Velten Zein, Managing Director Velten Zein UG and official importer for BRM in Germany. Another nice coincidence is that the exclusive TMG chronograph by BRM is based on the “V6 Hybrid” model. TMG is the base for the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing project in the FIA World Endurance Championship and it uses a V6 petrol engine as part of a hybrid powertrain.
Participants in the TMG GT86 Cup also benefit from the partnership: the top three finishers are awarded specially-produced trophies from BRM, the next time again after the third race of the season on 24 June. In addition the overall winner of the Cup will win a champion’s edition watch, with a carbon dial and a personal engraving.
